Reem Acra’s show was seamless! From one amazing silhouette to another with clean, A-line shapes, the simplest strapless columns, and soft fit and flare dresses, all infused with signature elements of hand embroidery and appliquéd details that are known as the “Brand” of Reem Acra.
Tulle layering blended a romance and ethereal quality to many of the gowns, combined with crystal and metallic threadwork exposed in the lace created a glimmering effect. From silk organza, tulle and gazar the collection clearly evoked the modern take on the classical tradition. Silk tulle and organza overlays and capes accompanied by veils reminiscent of the 1920’s. A fabulous juxtaposition with the structured gowns enhanced by feathers brought this collection to the forefront of bridal fashion week.
