Francesca Miranda’s impeccable taste and eye for beauty almost seems inborn, in fact it might be. Her father passed on a melting pot of cultures which sparked her passion for style and fashion. Her mother was a ballerina and taught her the importance of dedication, discipline and seeing the beauty in simplicity. Some of her earliest memories are those of helping her father choose fabrics for his custom shirts and ties. No wonder she developed into the incredible designer she is today.
If a breeze could be solidified you would have the materials used by Francesca Miranda in her Spring 2017 collection. 3D floral and delicate blossoms, bugle beaded bodices and flowing overskirts were show stoppers. The illusion fabrics were so light and airy we actually had to look at it in our hands to make sure it was there. Then billowing in the wind while waling is an art all of it’s own. Some call the fabric smoke it’s so light.
