Creating a dynamic exhibit can mean the difference between a customer stopping at your exhibit or just walking right on by. In an ongoing article we are going to show you ways to create a Designer Exhibit that is easy to transport and won’t break the bank.
A recent Video from Events In America reminds us that most exhibitors miss out on one key exhibit component – the 5th wall. BeThings demonstrated at the most recent UNVEILED event that the floor is a great canvas to convey your message.
So, let’s start at the base. The floor is the most underutilized surface of an exhibit and it can create a huge amount of impact. It will be the largest horizontal surface in your design, so get creative and make a statement! Ideas are limitless, from the vinyl graphics shown here, to the simple addition of a rug or even hardwood flooring.
When Michael & Paula Bushilla from Historic Hope Glen Farm sat down with us for an exhibit design meeting, we talked about the great opportunity they had to create a sense of space within their exhibit. On the left is their exhibit before the meeting. We talked about creating an environment that created the warmth and the beauty of their country setting. We suggested starting with the floor and adding a rolled vinyl floor with a hardwood look. For a minimal investment they created the dynamic showcase on the right.
