Food trucks are one of the hottest new social trends, and we love it! But have you ever thought of using a food truck for part of your wedding celebration!? We love the idea! It’s super unique, fun and customizable. This week for our VOW, we sat down with Jess from the Minnesota Food Truck Association to get some insight on how you can find the perfect food truck for your event. Are you sold? Q: What is the MN food truck association?
A: The Minnesota Food Truck Association is a group of over 70 Food Trucks gathered together to promote food truck awareness, advocate for food truck rights and promote the general awesomeness of the blossoming Minnesota Food truck Scene.
Q: When and how did the association begin?
A: The association began in 2013 because of the booming food truck scene we have all come to know and love.
Q: What are some ways couples can use food trucks in their wedding experience?
A: SO many – grooms dinner, reception dinner, late night snacks, engagement party, gift opening party, etc.
Q: What are some of the ways you have seen food trucks used for weddings?
A: All of the above! Trucks can keep it simple by pulling up the truck and serving directly from their window or some can do full service catering outside of the truck.
Q: How can the association help couples who are interested in using food trucks for their wedding celebrations?
A: The association can connect you with 75+ trucks that range in every type of cuisine you can imagine!
Q: What are some of your favorite food trucks?
A: Can’t say! There are just too many good ones!
Q: What are some of the most unique food trucks you’ve seen?
A: All of them are unique. All of them bring something different to the table that other trucks do not. The options are honestly endless!
