Bach Weekend: A Millennial’s Review.
Hey everyone! My name is Madison and I’m the Marketing Manager at The Wedding Guys. I was lucky enough to travel to Nashville this past weekend to experience Bach Weekend up close and personal, and let me tell you Minneapolis, we are in for a treat! This action-packed weekend was full of bride sashes, live music, private parties, divine dinners, delicious drinks, lots of laughter and a weekend that 150 bachelor(ette) party goers are sure to never forget (or remember). I seriously cannot stress enough how amazing this whole weekend was for everyone involved. Whether you are the M.O.H party planner, the bride, groom or party-goer, Bach Weekend takes all the stress and hassle out of bachelor(ette) parties and leaves much more room for care-free, memorable FUN! I want to walk you through my entire weekend with Bach Weekend to give you a better idea of what the Minneapolis weekend might look like, and trust me by the end you will have total FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out!) #BestWeekendEver
THURSDAY:
5:30 PM: Landed in Nashville, TN. (This was my first trip to Nashville, so to say I was excited is a bit of an understatement!)
6:00 PM: Arrived at Bach Weekend Headquarters. This is where all the magic happens! Their space is full of giant Bud Light props, hangover cures, and lots of party planning and inspiration in every corner! Here, I met with the entire Bach Weekend team to go over their game plan for all the events that were about to unfold over the next 48 hours. I loved how much detail went into every piece of the planning. The team even introduces each party and gives a short introduction so we all feel like we know them by the time they arrive on Friday.
7:30 PM: Checked in at Hayes Street Hotel, this brand-new hotel is ADORABLE. As soon as you walk in the front door you are flooded with southern charm and feel like you have just walked into your best friend’s living room. This was also one of the hotel options all the parties had for their weekend stay, score!
8:00 PM: Rosa, Nicole (two of the amazing Bach Weekend team members) and I met a couple parties who arrived in town a day early. This is what is so great about Bach Weekend and what I personally loved the most, they pull out all the stops to accommodate every group. They genuinely care about each party and make sure they make the most of their time in town. They showed me and the two other bachelor(ette) groups some of their favorite bars in Midtown Nashville.
Stop #1, Kung Fu Saloon for a Nashville local brew and giant connect 4 on the patio
Stop #2 Broadway Brewhouse for a Bushwacker (a magical Nashville drink, you need to try), shuffle board and darts
Stop #3 Losers Bar and Grill for some live country music
Stop #4 The Patterson House for craft cocktails to end the night
FRIDAY:
9:00 AM: We began prepping the accommodations for all the parties who chose the Hotel package. Guests were able to choose if they would like to stay at the Hayes Street Hotel, the Hampton Inn, or arrange their own accommodations. For the groups who chose to stay at the hotel, we decked out the bride’s hotel room with fun décor, swag bags, and their Bach Box that included all the essentials they needed for their stay (Lyft Codes, gift cards, coupons, itineraries and more!)
Over the next few hours all the parties started to arrive and the party began!
7:30 PM: A party bus picked A few lucky parties up for a free ride over to the VIP Bach Weekend Party!
8:00 PM: Beach Whiskey Exclusive Bach Weekend Party at The Tin Roof on Broadway. It was Cinco De Mayo so of course Bach Weekend had a few tricks up their sleeve. Complimentary Margaritas and a Cinco De Drinko Nacho Bar were both hits of the party. This party also included the always fabulous Broadway live country music, giant Jenga and flippy cup. It was so fun to watch all the bachelor(ette) parties interact for the first time because they all have one thing in common, they are ready to have the #BestWeekendEver.
Saturday:
9:00 AM: The Bach Weekend team began prepping for the daytime activities that each group signed up for.
These events included: Pole classes, Brewery tours, Pedal Taverns, Distillery tours, Go Karting, and Instagram Scavenger hunts. Each group signed up in advance for which day time activity they wanted to participate in and it was included in the base price of their Bach Weekend Package and all the scheduling and details were taken care of for them by the Bach Weekend team. This is what I mean when I say they truly take the hassle out of bachelor(ette) parties!
The daytime activities took place throughout the day at various times. This is another fabulous feature of Bach Weekend. There is both large group time where parties can mingle, meet friends and party together as well as intimate small group time where all the focus is on ONE bride or groom and their party, the daytime activies are often one of those times.
5:30 PM: Dinner reservations. Each group received a gift card worth $15/person to spend at the restaurant of their choice (recommendations provided by Bach Weekend), the reservations were prepared by the Bach Weekend team as well so once again, everything was as stress-free as possible!
8:00 PM: Bud Light Secret Party hosted at the Valentine on Broadway. This is where things started to get really fun! By now, all the bachelor(ette) parties knew one and other, knew the Bach Weekend team and were ready to party! Complimentary Bud Light and Spiked Seltzer was provided to the Bach Weekend guests. An exclusive DJ hosted the event and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves on the dance floor! The night came to a close as everyone headed up to the rooftop for an AMAZING view of Nashville’s famous Broadway.
Sunday (not so) Fun Day:
Although bachelor(ette) party hangovers can be some of the worst, Bach Weekend eases it by providing every guest with a Hangover Kit that includes their secret hangover weapon, Life Support!
Overall, I give Bach Weekend 5 STARS! This experience is seriously one-of-a-kind and these blushing brides and glowing grooms wouldn’t have been able to experience a #NashBash the same way without Bach Weekend! In my opinion, Bach Weekend is THE way to experience a bachelor(ette) party.
Not to worry my Midwest brides and grooms, they didn’t forget about us! They are coming HERE to MINNEAPOLIS this August 11-13. If you have any questions, Bach Weekend is here to help you, this amazing and fun group of Nashville (bach)party animals would love to help you plan your perfect weekend!
