Paris-based designer, Elise Hameau is inspired by the fashion of the 20s and 70s and combines classic silhouettes with the most beautiful French lace and stunning detailing to create gowns that display personality and style. If you’re a bride who’s all about the back, you’ve probably come across her bridal gowns on your daily Pinterest excursion and been mesmerized by her heavenly gowns.
“I have taken time to learn what I wanted to do with my life, although I knew since childhood I wanted to be a fashion designer. My mother was a designer and it really was an area that attracted me. I had my first sewing machine for eight years, I had fun drawing in my notebooks princesses and their outfits.”
Her 2017 Collection can be described as “a strand of rock n’ folk,” taking us back to the seventies! The bride looks like Jane Birkin and plunges us into a poetic and freedom-filled universe. The dresses are flowy, without sticking to the body but marking well the size. Silhouettes and feminine curves are highlighted thanks to the necklines and the transparency games.
