The WE tv series, Bridezillas, just released its findings from a nationwide survey that takes a look at recent brides and their “Bridezilla” tendencies. The new survey also ranked the top 15 designated media markets by “Bridezilla” behaviors, and found that New York brides top the list, followed by San Francisco and Detroit. But Minneapolis comes in at #6!
#1 for LOVE: Minneapolis is a city of Love Birds
The survey also reported that Minneapolitans are love birds, selecting “all that mattered to me was that I was marrying someone I love” as their #1 answer!
WE tv’s first-ever Bridezillas survey is being released in conjunction with the new season of Bridezillas which premiered June 1st, and looks at how the term “bridezilla” has evolved since the show first premiered in 2004.
“In 2018, being called a ‘Bridezilla’ isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Our survey shows that recent brides have taken ownership of the term,” says Laura Halperin, Executive Producer and Voice of Bridezillas. “Brides are taking control of their wedding day, and making sure every detail is just what they envisioned.”
According to the survey, brides are re-defining the term ‘Bridezilla’ to be more about empowerment and taking control of their wedding, given that the wedding day is one of the biggest milestones in their life (second only to the birth of their child, according to the poll’s findings.)
