Long-time luxury bridal boutique rebrands as m. Elizabeth Bridal
There’s a new girl in town! Nationally established bridal boutique, L’atelier Couture Bridal, has changed its name to m. Elizabeth Bridal, named after its owner Marie Suchy. The boutique is not only updating its name but also its personality. This is not your mother’s bridal boutique. With a new owner taking over L’atelier in early 2017, rebranding of the company was imperative.
“Why now?” said owner Marie Suchy, “After over a year of making changes with the environment, our processes, staffing and more, it was time to make the business a reflection of me.”
Taking a traditional and classic bridal store that was accompanied with the name ‘L’atelier’ and reviving it into an up-beat and modern store now known as ‘m. Elizabeth Bridal’, to accommodate the changing environment of today’s brides. Along with a name change, a change of style has also occurred. Elegant and luxury dresses have been infused with otherwise thought unconventional styles, such as pantsuits and motorcycle jackets. A new style of luxury paired with a new attitude is m. Elizabeth Bridal.
L’atelier Couture has been located in the historic North Loop in Downtown Minneapolis for the past 11 years. In late 2017, it expanded to include a second location in downtown Nashville. Serving the metro area and beyond, L’atelier has provided brides with a unique experience in a beautiful setting with a curated collection of gowns.
We were able to assist Marie with the big reveal on Monday, June 11th and it was an honor to help unveil the new brand. m. Elizabeth certainly doesn’t lack personality. The m. Elizabeth bride is a girl who is sophisticated, confident and likes to indulge in some of the finer things in life… like whiskey! Yes, the new salon name also comes with a new feature- a craft whiskey bar! Brides and their entourage can partake in whiskey sampling- a favorite of Marie herself.
The casual luxury style of m. Elizabeth still provides Minnesota Brides with the most luxury bridal brands, styles, and experience, but now also includes many styles and designers with a much more approachable price tag. Styles now start at $2,000 and go up to about $20,000.
