Here’s to wedding toast tips!
Cheers! Here are some wedding toasting tips to have the best toast of the night!
Breathe, staying calm and being yourself is the result for the most genuine speech. Introduce yourself to the crowd. Write some thoughts down on a note card for reminders throughout your speech. Speak from the heart, wedding toasts don’t require all the work you did on your college papers or speeches.
Keep it short and sweet, a well-timed speech is between 2 and 3 minutes. Any longer makes the speech drag on and you’ll loose the connection with your audience. remember, it’s not just you; A lot of friends and family and members of the bridal party want a chance to talk, so don’t talk excessively.
Address the couple! That’s what you’re all there for, it’s their special day. Talk about happy memories, be light-hearted and don’t forget to toss a couple compliments their way!
Tell a story! Throw it back to the days you guys were kids or teenagers in school. How did they meet their spouse? Make a joke (or two) while keeping it appropriate. Telling a joke is a good way to lighten up the room and have others engage. Be sentimental this a beautiful moment for everyone especially the bride and groom.
There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved.
