Q: What makes Pro Sound and Light Show stand out compared to other wedding entertainment options?
A: Two things: first, our experience and variety of options, along with our size. With over 30 talented people working to produce events for our clients, we have a depth of creativity to draw from. And second, the fact that our clients have consistently reviewed and awarded us industry awards (voted best of weddings) year after year proving we do what we say we will do.
Q: What makes your photo booth experience different than other options couples might have in the Twin Cities?
A: Our 100% satisfaction guarantee that your guests will have fun. No hidden fees or travel charges. And our photo booth can be booked by itself, or bundled with our DJ services for a complete entertainment package.
Q: When and how did Pro Sound and Light Show begin?
A: Pro Sound & Light Show started in 1991 in Moose Lake, MN as a mobile DJ company. It then grew to include Minneapolis, St. Cloud, Brainerd & Duluth. In 2012 Aaron Abramson started as a wedding DJ, and in 2014 Aaron became the new owner & CEO. We added photo booths as a service offering in 2017.

Q: What would you want couples who are searching for the perfect entertainment experience for their wedding, rehearsal or other wedding-related event to know about Pro Sound and Light Show?
A: As a company, with well over 10,000 weddings performed at, we have seen and experienced almost anything and everything. When you book with Pro Sound & Light Show, you aren’t getting just a DJ or just a photo booth, you are getting a whole company who wants your event to be amazing. Our full time staff is here to answer questions, provide advice, recommend vendors, and be here to support you.
Q: Any advice for couples regarding choosing entertainment options for any part of their wedding celebration?
A: Every great wedding must come to an end, and at the end of the day, what do you want your guests to be saying about your event as they’re going home? The thing is, you don’t NEED entertainment for your wedding, the important part is getting married to the person you love most in the world. So don’t pick a vendor because you think you need them, rather pick a vendor because you absolutely WANT them to join you in your celebration. We at Pro Sound & Light Show truly want you to work with and to have the results that you want.
Q: What kind of packages do you offer for weddings?
A: Couples can book DJ packages for reception only, reception + ceremony, reception + ceremony + rehearsal. Couples can also book photo booth packages for just the cocktail hour, late-night during the dance, or for the whole reception. A popular option has been to book a photo booth for the bridal shower as well.
Q: How far in advance should a couple book Pro Sound and Light Show?
A: Couples book Pro Sound & Light Show between 7-14 months before their wedding date. Some couples book as far as 2 years in advance because they absolutely have to have a specific wedding DJ and book as soon as they have their venue & date locked in. We tend to “sell out” and close dates for booking 4-6 months out, and we do offer discounts & incentives for booking early.
Q: What do you like about working in the wedding industry?
A: Nobody ever attends a wedding saying “Gosh I hope this wedding sucks”. Everyone wants to celebrate the love of the couple getting married, and when people come together in love and celebration, they are the perfect ingredients for a great event.
