Since Berta hit the runway scene five seasons ago introducing the flowing cape as its signature (besides the see-thru skirts) it has been all the rage. While a cape can create and enhance a gowns long train, now we have coats added to the mix. Utilizing crepe or tulle fabrics designers are utilizing the coat to create an aura of mystery and formality as the bride makes her ascent up the ceremony aisle.
Literally topping off the looks for 2020 are the designer’s collaboration with accessory designers for neckline statement pieces, veils, and gloves paired with the specific gown, creating a finished stylized look.
