The Wedding Guys, Inc. is thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team. Kim Sunshine joins us as Executive Editor, Custom Content.
Kim will work alongside The Wedding Guys to create articles covering trends, expert features, fashion and style, bringing our award-winning content to the next level. She will work closely with clients to help enhance their stories within the continued development of our robust digital content platforms.
Kim comes to The Wedding Guys with an acute acumen for style and a world-class resume. After working in television from 1997-2004, including producing bridal coverage for Full Frontal Fashion and as an Associate Producer for MTV, Kim turned her talents exclusively to the wedding world. She joined The Knot as Senior Video Producer in 2005. She has interviewed everyone from celebrity bakers and Diamond-District jewelers to wedding gown designers, bridal salon owners and planners and event designers. As Senior Fashion editor at The Knot, she wrote extensively about weddings, bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride dresses, men’s fashion, bridal beauty and real weddings. Kim has also freelanced as a writer for a range of publications including Martha Stewart Weddings.
Kim’s degree is from Washington University where she majored in English Literature.
We’ve engaged Kim to carry out our new vision of being the one resource that brings custom curated content to wedding planning couples on a daily basis. New enhancements to our weekly newsletters, along with a re-imagined social media strategy will continue to enhance The Wedding Guys brand.
Join us in welcoming Kim!
