The Hotel Ivy, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Minneapolis, just got even better. With a newly-renovated retreat for relaxation, the Anda Spa is a must-do for all couples looking to unwind before (or after!) their big day. We sat down with the Anda Spa Director, LeAnn Erikson, who told us more about this haven for relaxation.
A Holistic Spa Experience
The Anda Spa is known for its holistic approach. Erikson explains this starts with the ingredients in all of the products used during treatments, “We promote a balance between purposeful and natural ingredients in our services. The thoughtfulness of the ingredients in the products like Zents and Naturopathica [that are used in our spa are natural.] Our main focus at Anda Spa is [to] curate a moment for our guests that replenishes their body – mind – spirit. Offering them a sense of tranquility in our urban setting of MSP.”
To get that balance of mind, body and spirit, this modern wellness retreat implements crystal-based practices. Erikson further explains, “Our Gemstone facial incorporates the use of gem stone mapping. We place upon the face and body crystals that support self-love, balance and renewed energy. The Gemstone facial speaks to both our clients physical skin care needs and the energy within their being.”
Amazing Options for Pre-Wedding Celebrations
One look at the spa menu shows Anda Spa’s many facial offerings, as well as other skin treatments. All of them aim to relax, balance, and renew their clients. Just perfect for all bride- and groom-to-be’s, whether it’s for a bridal shower, a bachelor or bachelorette weekend, or a couple looking to pamper themselves together. Erikson says the spa can create bespoke experiences depending on your situation. “Our Romance Ritual is the perfect blend of spa treatment and relaxation for any couple. [And for bachelorette parties] I love our beautiful rose quartz nail salon for a glass of bubbly [and a nail treatment.]” With ample space to fully relax or unwind with friends, Anda Spa is the perfect retreat for a small gathering. “Being able to accommodate groups from 10 – 30 people is a unique characteristic that [couples, their friends] and event planners love.”
With space to roam, relax and rest, you can explore their Quartz Spa that includes a large dry sauna, whirlpool, experience showers and warming loungers. As Erikson explains, when it’s too cold outside to chill out, “This space creates an experience of tranquility that allows our guests to forget about the cold of Minnesota winters.”
This season The Wedding Guys have partnered with Hotel Ivy and Anda Spa, so make sure you take advantage of the VIP UNVEILED packages available and then see both at the show!
