Bridal Fashion Week is our opportunity to hobnob with the world’s leading designers, see their collections and report back on all the trends. We’re thrilled to bring you the ‘whats hot’ we saw in New York this October!
In many fashion collections; whether it’s ready-to-wear, resort wear, evening wear, high fashion, or haute couture, designers always continue to push the boundaries in every aspect of design. Over centuries “bridal” fashion has always had its own signature bridal look and never seemed to blur the lines until now. Bridal designers seemed to have that in mind for their Spring and Fall 2020 New York Bridal Fashion Week collections. Yes, there were still ball gowns, A-lines, Mermaid, and Fit & Flare silhouettes (add in cathedral veils, and custom embellishments), and voila you have all the makings and choices to help you say,” Yes to the Dress.” But, the looks have never straddled both ends of the spectrum; now they do as designers try to set themselves apart.
We all agree brides should look their absolute best on “the biggest fashion day of her life”, however, the question is what styles and trends resonate with today’s bride while still embracing the inspiration, creative imaginations, and vision of designers. From our seats, at Fall 2020 New York bridal Fashion Week we saw amazing fashions on the runways of the leading “bridal fashion” designers like Romona Keveza, Ines Di Santo, Berta, Anne Barge, Justin Alexander, Amsale, and Isabelle Armstrong.
Here is a full rundown of what you will see walking the bridal aisles next year:
