MOBILE COCKTAIL BAR FOR HIRE
Mobile cocktail bars? What’s that you ask? Equal Parts Cocktail Company takes weddings to another level with a cocktail experience like no other. Equal Parts Cocktail Company provides a movable, portable cocktail bar with mixologists that make sophisticated drinks guests will love. Simeon Priest, cocktail expert and founder of this sophisticated drink option for special events, tells us what you can expect from this high-spirited service.
CRAFT COCKTAILS FOR WEDDINGS
Now more than ever, couples want to set themselves apart and make their wedding stand out. One way is with a craft cocktail mobile bar. With expert bartenders serving up delicious and pretty drinks, guests have fun imbibing on unique drinks they might not have seen anywhere else. “Here at Equal Parts Cocktail Company we take our craft very seriously, as well as the fundamental elements of hospitality. We absolutely LOVE to help people celebrate their special occasions. We believe that the wonderful world of weddings deserves the best that the craft cocktail world has to offer, and we’re here to bridge that gap,” says Priest.
IT’S ALL ABOUT BALANCE
Priest tells us, “Cocktails these days are all about balance. We offer all of the most cutting-edge techniques to get the biggest, freshest flavors out of our juices, syrups, bitters, and tinctures. All of which is lost if the bartender doesn’t craft a balanced cocktail. We’ve been making craft cocktails for a long time, and we know how to do it right.”
TASTINGS AREN’T JUST ABOUT THE FOOD ANYMORE
“I often think back to me and my wife’s wedding years ago,” Priest recalls. “We had an AMAZING time tasting entrées and desserts with the chef many months before our wedding. And then the bar choices were a complete afterthought a week or two before the wedding. Today’s couples are much savvier, and the craft cocktail world is accessible to everyone. The days are gone where a simple spirit-&-mixer is sufficient. We have couples coming to our tasting room well before their events to taste through different renditions of their favorite cocktails and helping lend a hand to customize it and make it just a little more ‘them’.”
THE PERFECT TIME TO GET CREATIVE
With signature cocktails on the rise, we wondered if couples ask for color-coordinated drinks at their weddings. “From time to time I have couples that want cocktails color coordinated to their wedding colors. This is often easily doable with natural ingredients. I’ve used dried hibiscus pedals to perfectly dye a cocktail blush, to match a client’s branding. Most of the time this also is their favorite cocktail. Naming cocktails is fun and can be really creative. Our couples love to put a fun twist on a cocktail name, or come up with a totally original one. It’s their big day, have fun with it!” says Priest.
AND YES, MOCKTAILS ARE STILL POPULAR
When asked if guests can enjoy his services if they don’t drink alcohol, Priest whole heartedly assures there are drinks for those who abstain, “Mocktails are definitely still a thing. I love to make them for guests that choose to abstain from alcohol. They are not always being offered at our events, depending on what the host wants us to provide, but we love them. One of my favorites is made with fresh pineapple syrup, lime juice and coconut water. Shaken over ice and served with a hint of bubbles and ginger. To die for!”

VENUES WITH OUTSIDE VENDORS
Keep in mind a mobile cocktail bar like Equal Parts Cocktail Company is meant for venues that allow (or require) outside vendors. As Priest explains, “Venues that don’t allow in outside alcohol or outside bartending services really aren’t places where we get to work. Lucky for us (and all of those amazing couples), there are more and more venues these days that ONLY allow in outside services. This is the setting where our services really shine. Whether it’s a newly freshened-up warehouse or that picture-perfect barn, we absolutely love celebrating with our couples at venues all over.”
“What bartending really boils down to is service. And the best service I can give someone is to make them happy and satisfied in the moments we spend together.” Cheers to that!
