Everything you need to know about the September 2020 Twin Cities Bridal Show
The 2020 Twin Cities Bridal Show took place on Sunday, September 27th, at Saint Paul RiverCentre. It was the first public event at the RiverCentre since COVID-19 halted events earlier this year, and was also the ONLY Minnesota bridal show this fall. The Wedding Guys welcomed local exhibitors and 1000 attendees throughout the day ready to jump-start wedding planning.
Due to the restricted capacity size, the number of vendors and couples were limited. But that didn’t mean the show wasn’t filled with inspiration! Our team worked closely with the venue, the Minnesota Department of Health, and the State of Minnesota to host an event where couples can plan their wedding while remaining safe.
We instituted one-way aisles, social distancing guidelines, and exhibitors even used plastic dividers to interact with brides responsibly. We also had contactless check-in, digital program options, and hand sanitizer widely available throughout the show floor.
2020 Inspiration Station
Brides, grooms, and entourages were welcomed into the 2020 Twin Cities Bridal Show by our Inspiration Station. Here they found six different live wedding theme ideas including:
- Micro Merriment
- Cotton Candy
- Bohemian Rhapsody
- City Chic
- Farm-to-Table
- Cultures
We worked in collaboration with area bakeries, florists, and bridal salons to create unique and detailed wedding reception ideas. Even the media was excited to get a first look! Check out all the themes on our Pinterest page!

Next, Gypsy Hair Guru pampered attendees and glammed up our fashion show models at the Glam2Go Makeover Zone. They provided mini-makeovers to get brides excited and inspired for their wedding day.

Throughout their time slot, attendees connected — from 6′ — with Twin Cities wedding experts like Joy Unspeakable Flowers and #TCBridalShow newcomers DJAA. They also met many talented florists, bakers, and bridal salons.
2020 Twin Cities Bridal Show Aisle of Style
Finally, Aisle of Style Fashion Show guests arrived to see cocktail-style tables allowing for proper physical distancing. They watched 40+ gowns dazzle the runway with modern pieces alongside traditional options. Bridal shops included Diamond Bride, Flutter Bridal Co., and a special appearance by local designer Colby John. Watch the entire fashion show on our IGTV!
Thank you to every vendor, bride, groom, entourage member, and the RiverCentre for a smooth and inspiring day. Wedding planning through COVID-19 is difficult, but love isn’t canceled! We know the planning must go on
The Twin Cities Bridal Show will return on January 3, 2021, so be sure to RSVP here. Stay tuned for ticket sale info coming soon!
