As couples up the ante with weddings that are Insta-worthy, we wanted to show you some fall color combos you might not have thought of as you plan your autumn affair. When you think of fall, you think of the falling of the leaves. These colors inspire some of the combos you’re about to see, but not all of them! We’ve pulled cakes, flowers, and bridesmaid fashions that go with our color palettes so you can see how they play out through your day and its décor.
Sunset Orange | Maroon | Blush
The sophisticated bridesmaid looks we’ve pulled work beautifully within this color combo. Whether it’s the textured BHLDN dress or the soft blush Hayley Paige Occasions jumpsuit, they are lovely options for your crew. We also have a few paper suite options from A Milestone Paper Co. with maroon that just pops from the page. Alice & Rosa Cake Studio made this modern and delectable-looking cake that has floral and splatter paint details. And check out this trio of wedding cakes from Hey There, Cupcake that looks almost too pretty to eat!

Moss Green | Beige | Terracotta
Just look at how the color combo of rust and green come together beautifully in these wedding elements. With touches of grays and beiges to offset the green and rust hues, this palette is moody and romantic. Plus, it makes for very pretty pictures. Winifred Kristie Cakes rustic but couture option has dark leaves of fall juxtaposed with delicate flowers in beige tones. Meanwhile, David’s Cakes made a multi-tier white cake with roses that have a terracotta twinge to them. Sadie’s Florals created a bouquet in soft tones that works nicely with the palette with another option from Bleed Heart Floral. For bridesmaid dresses, there are many options in shades of green that won’t come off too spring-like. We like the modern boho option from BHLDN or this emerald choice from one of our runway shows. Alternatively, you could pick a grey option like one from a real wedding we have featured. And a paper suite from A Milestone Paper Co. is rich and sophisticated with modern painted brush strokes at the top.

Burgundy | Dusty Rose
With touches of gold or greenery in the mix, this becomes a beautiful and wonderful fall color palette that is anything but boring. If you want to surprise guests at the wedding perhaps your invite can stick with green and white florals and then you reveal your colors at your event through other décor elements. A five-tier confection from Flourish Cake Design has naked cake elements, while also providing pops of color through burgundy floral add-ons and gold tiers. Winifred Kristie Cake‘s gorgeous creation has dusty rose florals and gold leaves to give it a regal touch. Whether you choose the light or dark hue for your bridesmaid dresses, you’ll see there are plenty of options for your bridesmaids in one of the most sophisticated color combos of the season.
