There’s nothing like an all-white wedding for winter — it’s classic, cool, and undeniably chic. But for those seeking color, the winter season is a wondrous time to embrace rich hues that pop. We have three winter wedding color combos that you’ll love. (Or at least get inspired by, as the elements here show you how to incorporate color in a myriad of ways at your wedding).
HUNTER GREEN | GOLD | ONYX | FRENCH ROSE
Jeannine Marie Photography captured a beautiful hunter green and gold affair, where every element seemed to incorporate these rich and wonderful hues. From the ring box to the ceremony programs to the tablescape details, gold pops off hunter green and looks simply regal. Adding in a hint of pink and onyx builds out this palette to create some great contrast.
CINNAMON | CHARCOAL | WHITE SMOKE | PEACH
One pretty color we love for a winter wedding is that of a rich red shade we call Cinnamon. Not quite red, not brown or burgundy, this shade pairs beautifully with many colors, but we are feeling that tones of gray add in a modern but subtle hue that works well. Shades of cinnamon and crimson with the addition of light peach and grays blend perfectly to create a great mood for a winter wedding.

And if you like simple or naked cakes, they fit seamlessly into an affair with shades of cinnamon. We also love this gorgeous creation by Jasmine Rae Cakes, that hints at a cinnamon vibe but in a subtle way.
Alternatively, a cake like this one by Winifred Kristie Cake is a beautiful option.
OXFORD BLUE | EVERGREEN | SHIMMERING GOLD | SNOW
Another gorgeous color combo is that of oxford blue and green with hints of gold and white. Dark blue is a wonderful alternative to black and keeps an event formal yet fun. Older family members that want to dress in your wedding colors should have plenty of navy options to choose from, and there are many beautiful navy bridesmaid dress and decor options.

The combo of metallic gold with oxford blue is simply stunning, as seen here on these table cards by LoveBonnyDesign and on this cake by Hive Bakery.
