Not only is it the new home of UNVEILED Minneapolis, but they have 23 event spaces and it is attached to the most stylish hotel in the city with a charming new restaurant featuring a curated menu.
We spoke to Banquet Manager, Sinisa Djukic, about this incredible space and what he’s up to when he’s not helping couples host the wedding day of their dreams.
Q: Let’s get to it, what’s your business’ specialty?
A: Weddings, galas, meetings and other social events.
Q: Where can we find you?
A: 225 3rd Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55401

A: Our business started in 2001 after CSM Corporation purchased the property and converted it into two beautiful hotels, spectacular event space, and underground parking.

A: Our company’s core values, unique venue, size, and variety of event space.
Q: How long have you been in the industry? What do you think has changed the most since then?
A: 20 years. Most trends have changed since the early 2000s but one thing has stayed the same — guests still want that unique experience that we can provide here at the Depot.
Q: Walk us through your average workday.
A: I would normally check on my staff first thing in the morning to make sure they have everything they need for a successful event. Then I walk the property, greet all the event clients and make sure they feel welcomed and that they are being taken care of. The afternoon is reserved for meetings and follow-ups.
Q: What would you want couples searching for their wedding venue to know?
A: Weddings at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot, are truly unforgettable. From our professional and creative staff to a unique and beautiful event space, the Depot is a perfect place for your special day.
