You have all the details planned for your wedding day, but have you thought about your bridal suite? Your venue may not have one on-site so you may consider getting ready in a hotel room or at home with a pop-up bridal suite. One way to glam up the space is with beautiful lounge furniture, fun vanities, and all the getting-ready accessories you need. This is where Dream Day Dressing Rooms comes in! Discover how Amy and her team will make the morning of your wedding day fabulous.
Q: Let’s get to it, what’s your business’ specialty?
A: We create pop-up bridal suites + getting ready rooms!
Q: Where can we find you?
A: Our warehouse is located in Andover, MN but we travel all across the state.
Q: Tell us when and how your business began.
A: Our business was created in 2016 when my Mom (and co-owner) Heidi and I were planning my wedding. I got married at a historic hotel in Downtown Minneapolis that did not have a bridal suite for getting ready the morning of our wedding for me and my 10 bridesmaids. We jumped on Google and tried to find a vendor that could rent us the practical items we would need for getting ready and we were shocked to find that no such company existed anywhere in the country. We knew that if this was an issue for me, it must be an issue for other brides as well. Our lightbulb moment!
Q: What makes your company unique from others?
A: We are the first (and only!) company in the country to solve this problem!

Q: How long have you been in the industry? What do you think has changed the most since then?
A: We have been in business for five years. Almost everything has changed since we first started our company, we’ve really had to learn to roll with the punches. Most interestingly, we now very rarely interact with our couples face to face — our whole booking process is virtual and we deliver + pickup before and after their wedding or event!
Q: What would you want couples searching for wedding rentals to know?
A: We love a design “challenge” (aka anything outside our norm), so never be afraid to ask to try something new or different!
Q: How far in advance should a couple book with you?
A: We recommend booking your date as early as possible to ensure the furniture you have your eye on stays available, but the sweet spot is probably somewhere between 4-6 months out.
Q: Any wedding trends you’d like to see fade out?
A: I’m ready for neutrals to fade out and bright colors to come in!
Q: How would you describe your personal decor style?
A: Maximalism mixed with whimsy mixed with glam (can you picture it?)
Q: What’s trending in wedding decor right now? What trends can we expect to see in the future?
A: I really think the use of bright colors is going to be big this year. And themed weddings and events! Which I absolutely love.
LIGHTNING ROUND!
Q: What show are you binging right now?
A: Seinfeld and Real Housewives of Miami- we all contain multitudes.
Q: You’re in charge of the lineup for your dream concert. Who are your headliners?
A: Fleetwood Mac + Phoebe Bridgers + Orville Peck (that’s gonna be a weird crowd but I’m into it)
Q: Gold or Silver?
A: BOTH, always.
Q: Black Tie or Casual?
A: Black Tie.
Q: You’re at brunch. Are you going for something sweet or savory?
A: Can I choose both? Cause I want both!
Q: Favorite board game?
A: Not really a board game person, but will take on anyone in Mario Kart.
Q: Do you have any favorite podcasts?
A: Currently: That’s Messed Up- An SVU Podcast
Q: Favorite place you’ve traveled to?
A: Ireland!
