“It started off with five dresses in the back of my car and a trip to Harrods to meet the buyers back in 1991-little did I know that it would bring me here today.” British bridal designer Stephanie Allin recounts how she began her journey that has now led her gowns to be showcased across the world. Allin says she is inspired by art, travel, and literature and that her collections are reflections of varying periods of her life. The Stephanie Allin 2023 “Kiss” line is Allin’s newest and it’s all about that glam. Discover the inspiration behind this collection below!
KISS is inspired by a return to glamour after the recent disruptions to weddings. I found myself falling in love with shiny things. Satin Sequins and dramatic shapes. I feel that the flexibility of these adaptable styles enables brides to change their look from the formality of the ceremony to the joy of the celebration.
We shot the collection in a fabulous old house in North East London. The broken down interiors provided a wonderful contrast to the silhouettes and the luxury fabrics featured.
