Eager to begin planning their nuptials, Madeline and Blake knew they wanted to enjoy every element of the preparations. “Quality was an important factor…every detail had to be original and well thought out,” explains the couple. First, they decided that the ceremony would be held at Christ Episcopal Church where Blake’s Parents were married. The Parish is nestled in a quaint village and boasts incredible old-world charm in its architecture. For the reception, Madeline and Blake wanted an English garden aesthetic set in the backyard of Madeline’s family’s modern country home. “June is always a great month for weather, and a traditional month for weddings,” says the bride. “Plus the gardens around my parents’ home are fully in bloom with every possible color.”
Madeline was ecstatic to start the dress hunt; it began at Mestad’s where Madeline along with her bridesmaids and mother said yes to the very first dress she tried on! It was a traditional silhouette but the fabric was an unconventional color, it was perfect for the traditional English theme. Blake had a timeless classy suit created just for the big day from Heimie’s Haberdashery. The bride carried a gorgeous bouquet filled with fresh cut flowers in tones of cream and blush that matched the tall circular floral centerpieces, all created by RJKramer Designs. The floral designs perfectly accompanied and enhanced the family’s backyard gardens in full bloom. The flower centerpieces sat atop luxurious lacy tablecloths provided by Linen Effects. Linen Effects also helped the couple decide on mixing and matching elegant seating options around the tables that took the reception look to the next level and added the sense of quality and originality the couple insisted on.
