Upon arriving, guests mingled amongst themselves while enjoying signature cocktails as live acoustic melodies filled the air. Lawn games were played and hors d’oeuvres were served throughout the sprawling property situated between two fully-renovated, modernized barns. They were delighted to gather again and be reunited with friends and family after many months without large celebrations.

The décor details were refined and reflected the natural beauty of the venue. Simple white wooden chairs allowed the idyllic views to be the focal point. When putting together your wedding floral, it’s important to think beyond the bouquet and centerpieces. Striking flowers can elevate your ceremony and assist in setting the stage for your overall theme. Monumental flowering trees created a romantic and elegant arch that doubles as a social media moment for guests.

The tabletop design was whimsical yet uncomplicated. Below, timeless crystal stemware and cotton-white linen napkins created a casual setting that was sophisticated and reflected the couple’s personal tastes. Centerpieces on the head table were deconstructed bouquets of varying blue floral and loose bright greenery.

A modern way to display a schedule of events for this “Wedding Festival’’ was laid out cleanly on a custom clear acrylic sign. Creative and functional signage takes out the guesswork and allows guests to sit back and enjoy the evening. At right, the entire property could be navigated easily for family and friends to plan their festivities accordingly.

For this design palette, layers of brilliant blue, bold violet, and greens popped from the wood tones of the venue creating interest and vibrance. The towering centerpieces continued the garden party vision taking on a refined wildflower theme. Oversized clear hurricane vases were topped with delphiniums, O’Hara garden roses, blue thistle, spray roses, anemone, green foliage, and various natural blooms.

The reception space featured several circular tables that surrounded a harvest table for the couple and members of their family. Silver embellished linens with patterned details created texture against the relaxed tabletop design. Crossback chairs matched the antique feel of the space and were contemporary with ivory cushions.

Chic furniture covered in deep blue velvet provided warmth juxtaposed against the neutral-toned stone faux fireplace, at left. Adding lounges into your reception space offers an informal ambiance and a moment for those closest to you to really connect over cocktail hour.

The curated wedding dinner items sat atop simple place settings that allowed for the dishes to take the spotlight. Four courses were served each with a carefully selected wine pairing. First was the amuse course of deviled quail eggs followed by an apple manchego salad fit for the season. The pasta course of beef raviolo with lemon ricotta and aged balsamic preceded the main course that offered the choice of herb-roasted chicken, sea bass, braised short ribs, or vegan “crab” cakes.
