Kahani Events provides rentals, décor & design, event management, and full service planning for culturally specific, South Asian, and/or multicultural weddings & events. AND we do henna!

Why cultural & multicultural events? It’s personal! Owner Reena Maheshwari is of Indian descent, and she’s been through the trials and challenges of multiple multicultural relationships and weddings! She launched Kahani Events while simultaneously planning her own Nigerian & Indian American wedding and realized the lack of resources for pulling from those influences and being able to blend them all together in a cohesive manner.  At Kahani Events & Design, we love taking on the task of helping you choose and incorporate the cultural elements you want and are not afraid of taking on the extra tasks involved with finding the right vendors & products to create your unique celebration!

Our services:

Full/Partial Planning: Creating a full and complete vision for your day, finding you the vendors to help bring that vision to life, and making sure the entire team is prepared to help your day be as smooth and worry-free as possible!

Décor & Design: Creating and executing a vision for the aesthetic elements of the day – everything from ceiling installs & backdrops, centerpieces & tablecloths, to signage & invitations.

Event Management: Drawing from the planning you’ve done, and in the final few months creating detailed schedules/spreadsheets/layouts and managing all vendors to help ensure the day goes to plan.

Rentals: We have a warehouse/studio full of primarily South Asian décor and are happy to create customized backdrops & installations for your event!
