Price Harry and Meghan Markel are set to tie the knot one month from tomorrow on May 19th! The wedding will take place at Windsor Castle in England. We love dreaming about what royalty will wear on the big day, and although it is reported that Markle has already selected the designer of her gown, we have some predictions on what it might look like. Following in her soon-to-be sister-in-law’s footsteps, Markle will grace us with two gowns, one for the ceremony and one for the reception. Here are 10 of our favorite options for the soon-to-be princess Meghan Markle!
1: Zuhair Murad
This gown just looks royal to us, from the cape to the intricate detailing in the fabric, we love it all! We don’t expect Markel will go this sheer but we do love this design
2: Hobeika Couture
If Markel decides to embrace her new princess status, she might opt for a big dramatic ball gown similar to this off-shoulder V neck. We also love the beautiful details in the veil that includes white flowers. This gown sure screams, PRINCESS!
3: Marchesa
This ultra-feminine Marchesa gown is super romantic and we love to combination of straps and off-the-shoulder details.
4: Lela Rose
Markel is known for her minimal, chic style. She could go for something simple and sleek like this long-sleeve Lela Rose with buttoned writs and a scalloped boatneck.
5: Reem Acra
This Reem Acra gown is another long-sleeve sleek option for Markel. This one has a little classic and slightly more powerful than the relaxed fit of the last option.
6: Ralph & Russo Couture
If Markel wants to make a BIG statement, we love the idea of a full-textured skirt and high neck featured in this Ralph & Russo Couture gown.
7: Carolina Herrera
Bows are back and bigger than ever, (literally)! This high-fashion yet timeless gown would look gorgeous on the princess-to-be.
8: Oscar De La Renta
We think this would be a fantastic option for Markel’s reception gown. The sexy cut with the traditional ruffled bustle would be a great option for the new royal.
9: J. Mendel
If Markel chooses to embrace a more relaxed, bohemian style, we would like to see her in something delicately beautiful like this draped master-piece by J. Mendel. We love the silk fabric and full sleeves!
10: Naeem Khan
Another favorite new bridal trend of ours is FEATHERS! We could see Markel making a big statement and be the first royal to wear a dress with feather details!
