It’s a city known for its fashions, designers with trend forward visions. There is a lot of hustle and bustle, bright lights and flashing cameras from the ultimate fashion magazines around the world focused on the ultimate catwalk. It’s a sea and flurry of tulle, organza, satin, taffeta, lace and crystals. Designer assistants dashing to make last minute alterations or substitutions, retouches of make-up in a cloud of hair spray. The lighting technicians are counting the minutes to go dark for the start of the show and then – 3, 2, 1 – Queue lights, stand by music, queue music, stand by model… and go –
Welcome to Fashion Week for the Couture Bridal Market in New York City!
The Wedding Guys® Matthew Trettel and Bruce Vassar had the ultimate once in a lifetime fashion experience. They produced the Wedding TrendSpot Press Fashion Show during the couture bridal market in New York City. It’s such a rush to be able to feature the up and coming wedding gown designers and have them recognized as the designers to watch by Darcy Miller, Editor of Martha Stewart Weddings and the cast of ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ at Kleinfeld Bridal Salon in Manhattan not to mention the onslaught of international media and paparazzi at the end of the runway.
Our Wedding TrendSpot Press Fashion Show was never a dull moment behind the stage as models sprinted back from the runway over and over, unzipping their dresses and diving into the next one, all while wearing 5-inch heels! Fifteen designers’ collections were showcased in the high-energy fast paced runway show. These girls rocked it!
And a huge, huge thank you to the designers:
