If the bride-to-be isn’t the drink champagne, dance on the table and stay up ‘til 3 a.m. type of gal — you’re in luck; we have dreamt up some unconventional bachelorette party plans that are sure to let your favorite bride-to-be shine.
1. PLAN A GIRLS GLAMPING TRIP
For the adventurous Bride-To-Be, plan a glamping trip – a fusion of glamour and camping. Glamping is a way to connect with your surroundings without having to rough it. Pick a camping site somewhere with hiking trails, waterfalls, or maybe even natural hot springs! Spend the weekend exploring, canoeing, and chatting around the campfire, all without sacrificing even an ounce of comfort. Glamping trips are a great way for the bride and her friends to catch up and spend time away from the wedding planning frenzy.
2. COORDINATE A SCAVENGER HUNT
Take some time to plan a scavenger hunt around the town where the bride and groom met. Pick fun places where the couple shared some favorite memories. Visit the campus where the couple first met and end at a fun restaurant where they shared a first date and grab a bite to eat as a group. You’ll have fun spending the day discovering how and where the couple fell in love.
3. TAKE HER OUT TO THE BALL GAME
For the sporty bride-to-be, attend a major league sporting event. Major league baseball games are always a great option to spend time outside cheering on the bride’s hometown team. Many sports venues have private suites or rooftop options for a more intimate VIP bachelorette experience.
4. GET COOKING
If you are celebrating a bride-to-be who loves to cook, or maybe is looking to brush up on her skills before she ties the knot, attend a private cooking or baking class. Keep it classic and learn how to make a favorite dish or get adventurous and turn it into a cooking competition. You’ll have a blast spending the day in the kitchen sipping wine with your friends, and not to mention reap the benefits of creating a delicious meal or sweet treat.
5. BACH ON THE BEACH
If you’re hosting a summer bachelorette party, spend the day at the beach. Every bride needs a little pre-wedding glow and what better way to accomplish that than spending the day at the beach with your best friends. Sun, sand, a picnic and some beach games are the perfect recipe for fun. If you’re a Minnesota Bride, consider taking a Lake Minnetonka boat tour. Many Boat clubs offer lake tours complete with a personal bartender!
6. TAKE A ‘STAYCATION’
What bride-to-be isn’t in need of a little extra dose of rest and relaxation? Pamper the bride and spend a night or two at a nice hotel in the city, spend the day at the spa, and host a chick flick movie night in your suite. Don’t forget to pack all your favorite movie theater candies and popcorn.
7. WINE AND CANVAS
For the creative bride-to-be, attend a wine and canvas night. There are a few companies that host paint and wine nights at fun restaurants and bars. Sip a drink and let your creativity run wild. Paint nights are great for both beginners and artists alike, plus everyone will go home with a beautiful memento of the night spent celebrating the bride.
8. WINERY TOUR
Love wine? Well, you’re in luck! Many limousine companies specialize in wine tours. Spend an afternoon enjoying beautiful scenery, delicious wine and tasty appetizers in the area. Start the day with an empty box and fill it with some of your favorite bottles from each location and gift them to the bride for her to enjoy later with her husband-to-be.
9. DINNER AND A SHOW
Still want to get dolled up and spend a night out on the town, but would rather forego the bar hopping trend? Visit a fun restaurant for dinner and drinks with the girls then head to a show! Musicals, plays, comedy clubs or live music are all great options that everyone is sure to enjoy!
10. BOUDOIR PHOTOSHOOT
Looking to do something a little more risqué for your last fling as a single lady? Gather up your closest friends for some moral support and schedule a boudoir photo shoot. Spend the morning shopping for some new lingerie, then head to your favorite salon for a hair and makeup session and finally make your way to the studio for your shoot. Bridal party attendees can each have a mini session while the bride-to-be can choose to have a few outfit changes. Then the bride can use these photos to create an album to gift to her fiancé on their wedding day. Mix in some champagne and you’re on your way to a day filled of adventure, fun and pampering.
