One way to seriously elevate your wedding space is with stylish furniture. BeThings Rentals has some gorgeous pieces to create a glam lounge, custom bar, or whatever you can dream of. We talked to founder, Ryan Hanson, about how his company can take your day from regular to remarkable!
Q: Let’s get to it, what’s your business’ specialty?
A: Remarkable Rental Furnishings. Bars, sofas, tables, chairs, chandeliers, and hedge wall.
Q: Where can we find you?
A: Minneapolis and through our website.
Q: Tell us when and how BeThings began.
A: 2015. The options in rental furniture in Minneapolis were slim and basic. But we had clients asking for remarkable. And no one wanted to pay crazy truck fees to ship stuff up from Chicago. We built our company to offer remarkable products and put service front and center.

Q: How long have you been in the industry? What do you think has changed the most since then?
A: 15 years. The evolution in choice is spectacular. It used to be you could get one white sofa for your party. But now there is so much inspiration and clients are smarter about desiring more from their rentals.
Q: What makes BeThings unique from others?
A: Diversity and depth – we didn’t run out to IKEA for our couches. At BeThings, our collection of seating, bars, and tables represents some of the best in the rental industry. It is with great attention to style and color that we are proud to offer couples choices in getting what they want. And of course, the Chameleon Chair which offers the most comfortable chair for your ceremony setting or dining table in the Twin Cities!
Q: What would you want couples searching for your business type to know?
A: We exist. You don’t have to settle for the items which come free with the venue. Companies like our’s exist to offer couples the chance to customize and personalize their wedding their way. We help them create an Instagram-worthy experience for their wedding day. You can dream and be delighted.

Q: Walk us through your average day.
A: There is no such thing. But our team spends its time guiding customers through all of the options available to help pull together the perfect look.
Q: How far in advance should a couple book with you?
A: We tend to be a service selected later in the planning process. Typically, clients come to us 2-3 months before their wedding. Occasionally, couples find out they have extra funds and add a rental at the last minute, And some clients know they want a remarkable lounge, a killer chandelier, a signature bar, or upgraded seating for the head table and book from the start. We are always happy to help every couple make their day unique.
Q: How would you describe your personal decor style?
A: Masculine, modern, minimal.
Q: What’s trending in wedding decor right now? What trends can we expect to see in the future?
A: Well it’s hard to gather socially right now. Signature items matter a lot. A fantastic photo-worthy backdrop or upgraded table and socially distanced comfortable seating for an at-home celebration is what’s happening now.
LIGHTNING ROUND!
