This year our show debuted at its new luxury home at Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot. We took over each of their historic spaces from the airy and light-filled Conservatory to the grand Pavillion with sky-high chandeliers. Their spacious venue made for the perfect backdrop, and we can’t wait to return next year with even more features. Plus, couples were welcomed into their Luce Line & Empire Builder Lounge that is perfect for bride and groom getting ready spaces or rehearsal dinner.
As brides, maids of honor, and more explored the show floor, they met the area’s top wedding vendors including jewelers, photographers, reception venues, florists, and much more.
We couldn’t give you an UNVEILED Minneapolis 2021 recap without mentioning the Trend Wedding Experience. This year’s theme was dubbed “Avant Garden” including big, botanical decor with overscaled floral, bright colors, and modern lines. You’ll see bright yellows reflecting the Pantone Color of the Year with pops of teal and bespoke patterns to keep the eye interested. Guests were mesmerized by unexpected elements in our eccentric wonderland. We partnered with Noble Tru, Sweet Lulu’s, Minnesota Wedding Party, and Chrom Expo to create this curated unique concept.
This year saw the debut of an all-new TrendSpot Fashion Show concept with a French-inspired feel and cocktail-style seating. The Wedding Guys® worked alongside Flutter Bridal Co., Diamond Bride, and Colby John Couture to showcase the most glamorous gowns from structured modern dresses to glitzy fashions with intricate beading and illusion tops.
Gypsy Hair Guru was on-site to beautify our fashion show models as well as pamper brides with a quick up-do and makeup tips in a mini consultation.
And all the inspiration didn’t stop there. Attendees were immersed in ideas and trends from bridesmaid dresses, looks for grooms, more bridal fashion, and even a whole showcase dedicated to couples planning honeymoons or destination weddings.
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s event a success despite the many changes due to the ongoing pandemic. We can’t wait to return early 2022 to the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, the Depot for another glamorous event.
