Q: Let’s get to it, what’s your business’ specialty?
A: Providing an excellent & unforgettable photography experience for couples. Whether that is Photographing their wedding, engagement photos, or proposal, I strive to provide the best client experience possible!

Q: Tell us when and how your business began.
A: I established Ashley Beckman Photography in 2020. After photographing for over a decade It was time to go for my dreams and pursue photography full time!
Q: What makes Ashley Beckman Photography unique from other companies?
A: I believe that every photographer is unique in their own way. For the sake of the question, I’d say that I have a unique style and that I experience the emotion in each photograph I capture. I pour myself into each and every session, and I get fully involved. The way I connect with each couple helps me in that regard because I am not only their photographer, but we become great friends as we plan and dream together. I also offer payment options that allow my clients up to 12 weeks post-wedding to pay in full!
Q: How long have you been in the industry? What do you think has changed the most since then?
A: I’ve been in the photography industry for over a decade and I’d say that it has changed a lot! It has become more accessible as well as more creative.
Q: What would you want couples searching for wedding photography needs to know?
A: When looking for the right photographer don’t just go with anyone! The right photographer always starts with connection. Make sure that the photographer you choose listens to your wants, needs, & dreams for YOUR day! It is vital that they not only be excellent at their craft but that you vibe with them and connect! Ensuring that you will have the best possible photographic outcome on your most special day!
Q: How far in advance should a couple book with you?
A: Ideally 6 -12 months in advance for a wedding! That being said, every month is different so always inquire!
Q: What’s trending in wedding photography and videography right now?
A: Blurry photos, obscure angles, as well as more dynamic than in previous years. It’s becoming more raw and authentic and I am here for it all!
Q: Describe your photography/videography style.
A: My style has been described as romantic, emotional, and timeless, with a dramatic flair. I strive to capture moments that otherwise may be missed!
Q: Do you ever travel to shoot weddings? If so, what has been your favorite destination so far?
A: I do travel! I would say that Southern California has been the best place so far as it is my homeland. I love to be by the ocean and in the sunshine! Iceland, Ireland, Italy, & Greece are on my bucket lists, so I’d love to photograph a wedding in any of those locations!

A: Grilling in my backyard during summer!! I LOVE to be outside and adding food to that is always a good time!!

A: Definitely BOTH!! and possibly a Mimosa or 2.
Q: What is your hidden talent?
A: I can speak in several accents and I can sing.
Q: Mountains or Beach?
A: I LOVE to be outside and both have their own special qualities! It would depend on my mood!
