When D’Amore Wedding and Event Planning approached us about partnering on a European-inspired styled shoot, we were elated to begin planning. We began designing mood boards, crafting a color scheme, and putting together a list of the best vendors in the Twin Cities. This was an opportunity for a talented team of wedding professionals to showcase their best work while providing quality inspiration to couples.
“I wanted to have a European vibe with whimsical touches and to include a fun color palette! I love that color is coming back into weddings and part of that is coming from florals, but also other very subtle ways,” says Kim Harber, Owner and Lead Planner at D’Amore Wedding and Event Planning. “I put together a mood board with a potential venue, color palette, and other features that would make this shoot feel unique and something to aspire to for future couples. I absolutely love how it all came together and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing vendor team that saw the vision, understood it, and brought it to life.”
Below, we’ll take you on a journey through our elegant styled wedding shoot adorned with bright pastels, a sea of flowers, and the charm of European summer.

Fields of lush flowers, a warm summer evening, and punchy pastels set the tone for this European-inspired styled shoot held at Villa Bellezza Winery. There’s an undeniable charm about dining al fresco as you’re surrounded by rows of vines and stately Tuscan architecture. A melody of peach, fuchsia, soft pink, ocean blue, and cream evoke a sense of new-age opulence in an old-world setting, and Amanda Nippoldt Photography captured it perfectly.
At every corner, lavish flowers are abundant from the ceremony arch to the towering centerpieces. Ashley Skeie Events paired blooming pink peonies, ivory roses, and allium that burst from the tops of golden wire vessels. The architectural composition of the blooms is structured around the upright peach ranunculus, blue delphinium, and clematis. Strings of greenery flow down onto the table mirroring the vineyards in the distance.
Floral arrangements are surrounded by spiral-shaped taper candles in ivory, canary, light blue, and blush, held in ribbed chimneys and gold holders from Ashley Skeie Events. The tabletop layers begin with a watercolor charger flaunting hues of teal fading into dusty pink that sit atop a lovely yellow woven linen from Haven & Gather. Matte stone plates, rose glasses, and gold flatware from Aprés give a luxurious feel. Gold chameleon chairs, also from Haven & Gather, are a modern take on the standard event chair.
A cohesive invitation suite not only provides important information, but functions as an introduction to the overall aesthetic of the day. Crafting the perfect look for this invitation by ElizaGrace Paperie began with a custom illustration of the venue by Amber LeFever. There are many ways you can add bespoke touches and paper goods are a perfect way to do it.
Hand-torn deckle edges and a beautiful script font are just the beginning. A light chiffon linen ribbon pressed down by a gold wax foil with an antique motif makes a statement sitting on the cotton paper. An RSVP card with a blue and yellow pattern inspired by Italian tiles on the bottom set the European tone and is seen throughout other paper elements of the day.
Nature and decadence come together for these divine confections by The Salted Cake. Fresh flowers like blush peonies and delphiniums drape across the two-tier cake. Blended beige and pearl buttercream colors mimic the stone pillars that surround the villa. Delicate mini cakes are scattered below the primary cake each garnished with its own flower. These micro desserts are equally chic and whimsical.
Perfectly placing a lounge inside the reception space gives guests an opportunity to take a break from all of the festivities. Deep green velvet side chairs are stylish with brass legs that echo the mirror side tables from Haven & Gather. Coral pillows complement the bountiful flowers placed on the white linen sofa that create an inviting ambiance.
One trend we’re seeing all over TikTok this year is alternative guest book ideas. Instead of the standard pen and paper, guests can now leave an audio recording for you in an audio guest book like FêteFone. They have many options like The Versailles, an antique brass telephone with intricate designs and a vintage feel.
Champagne toasts are a tradition that transcends time. There isn’t another drink out there that is quite as celebratory as this bubbly wine. Instead of a butler-passed toast, consider a vintage bike turned into a mobile tap from MinnyBar. Guests will be delighted to enjoy bubbly or an Aperol Spritz from this adorable vessel.
European charm extends into the fashion as the groom wears a stone-colored linen suit with a striped clementine tie from MartinPatrick3. A vibrant pocket boutonniere pops from the suit and compliments the color palette. Rose tones are tied into the wedding band from Arthur’s Jewelers with brushed white gold and a polished rose gold inlay.
The bride is a vision in a Rivini by Rita Vinieris gown from Annika Bridal. This romantic ball gown has dimensional-printed flowers rather than the trendy appliqué or 3D additions. Exposed boning on the bodice adds an alluring structure blending techniques of the past with today’s fabrics. Jesus Arte accentuated the bride’s natural beauty with glowy, soft glam makeup and styling her braids into an elegant bun.
Thank you to all of the incredible vendors and talented wedding professionals that made this day possible. We are so grateful to all of you and are in awe of your work. View the gallery below and save to your Pinterest board for luxury, European-inspired wedding inspiration.
